My Little Prayers

My Little Prayers is incredibly cute and goes well with our other favorite book Bible Promises that I shared here. My Little Prayers has sections throughout the book for situations such as feelings, bedtime, mealtime, family and friends, favorite things, their day, special time with God and special days.

The collection of prayers are short and easy to remember. There’s a variety of traditional prayers prayers bye variety of authors and sprinkle through each section at the beginning is a Bible verse. 

Each prayer has a score corresponding illustration by Diane Le Feyer. Illustrations are very cute and well done. And they add a nice visual to each individual prayer.

 For example the prayer: “Lord, keep us safe this night, secure us from all my fears. May angels guard us while we sleep till morning light appears. – Traditional” is accompanied by two children snug in their beds sleeping and a moon hanging just outside their windows. 

The book has traditional paper pages but is perfect for small hands. Our three-year-old loves holding this book and it’s easy to turn the pages and for her to hold it as we read it. It’s a great way to encourage your little one to start praying little prayers. Our daughter loves praying her own prayers but I love praying these little ones with her so she’ll always have a little guidance when she needs it and doesn’t know what to say or pray.
