Never Lost With iKON
There was once a time where I hardly ever lost anything or forgot anything for that matter. Life was more streamline, my memory a bit more young and crisp. Then motherhood happened.
Life isn’t nearly as streamlined, it’s juggling two kiddos, hearing little requests and just making the best of our days. I have an incredibly ability to know exactly where every body has their missing stuff though.
“Where’s your missing bunny? It’s on your floor by the end of your bed, between your play baby crib, next to the purple blanket.”
“Your sunglasses, honey? You set them by the plant on the half wall by the laundry room door.”
My stuff though? Nada. That cup of coffee I drank part of? I lost it in the microwave exactly 3 hours and 25 minutes ago. Let’s not even talk about how many times I have lost my cell phone in the food pantry or my closet.
I cannot tell you how many times I have wished this or that had the ability for me to find it with my phone OR be able to find my phone without hoping on my computer and messaging my husband to call my phone. Sound familiar to any of you?
I recently discovered a new Indiegogo campaign that is a life changer. This device is just a bit bigger than a camera card and can be put on anything or even slipped into your wallet and the phone app helps you find it within 70 meters (220.66′) of your location. You use your phone and it takes you to the exact location via Bluetooth. Missing keys under the couch? No problem.
But what if you lose it and you are outside the 70 meters or your location or it’s taken outside of that range? You can hit a button and it will alert send you an alert when the other user’s bluetooth signal picks it up. You then can have the exact location of where it is.
The device also makes an audible sound when you are searching for it. It makes a beeping noise so you aren’t on a wild good chase trying to find the item and still clueless. The sound makes it unbelievably simple. There are currently three color options, as well – white, blue, and orange – so you can pair it with whatever matches best to you for a nice discreet look.
If you are sitting there thinking about how you usually use track of your phone too, I have excellent news for you. You can use the little device to call/alert your phone when you can’t find it but have a device! Yes, when you lose your phone somewhere silly you can find it with a click of the device! It sends an alert to your phone and it makes a sound when you hold the camera icon on the iKON device.
You can also use it to control your camera and take a selfie. There is a setting within the app that lets your use the camera icon on your iKON to be a bluetooth remote control for photos too, which is really handy – selfie stick or not. haha.
Still not quite sure what you would use yours for? Lets think of some really important things you never want to lose because it would cause stress, heartache or mass chaos:
- keys
- cameras
- camera bags
- a wallet
- your purse
- Your Laptop or Laptop Bag etc.
- You can use it on your pet collars to keep your pet under a watchful eye.
- You could also use it for your kids. If you are headed somewhere with huge crowds or somewhere they could easily wander – you could add it to a bracelet or have them stick it in their pocket.
- Inside your kid’s favorite stuffed animal
- The options are endless.
