Links and Loves – Vol. 4

We had a quiet week around here, and a productive weekend filled with projects and family. Since it’s been a little while since I did a Links and Loves post, I thought today would be a good day for one. These are some of my favorite posts because I just share things I’m loving so much lately and think you will too!

I finally did it. After looking at them for the last year I got my hands on a Lily Jade bag. I loved how great they looked, how versatile they are and the backpack feature.  I thought for a long time I would snatch up an Elizabeth but a few months ago I really started liking the Madeline.

The universe came together and knew that I had a hard time justifying the cash for a brand new one. One day I opened my DMs on Instagram and a woman had a gently used one that she was selling for a great price and I snatched it right on up.  It needs a little leather conditioning but I adore the bag.

It’s usual for me to have buyers remorse when I spend money – especially more than $50 but friends, zero regret. It’s everything I hoped it would be. It holds so much stuff in it, is a beautifully soft leather and the backpack feature is amazing. If you have been eyeing one –  I can’t recommend it enough.

freshlypickedMrBonesIt’s no secret that we LOVE our moccasins from Freshly Picked. Hands down our favorite moccs for B and A loves hers too. I shared them with you before and if you know us in person, you know that B is always wearing moccs when we are outside & out and about. In fact, B is ready for the next size! So crazy.

I just saw TODAY that they re-released their Mr. & Mrs. Bones moccs and they are just so precious!!! For Mr. Bones – you can order today and they are ready to ship!! For Mrs. Bones – Order today and they will ship Sept. 30. These are fun and pretty perfect for Halloween coming up.

If we are being ultra honest here, these are totally out of my fashion comfort zone but they are just so cute. Knowing how much we get compliments on his moccs now, I can only imagine how many sweet comments we would get on these!

I’ve been an advocate for natural healing for a very long time as many of you long time readers know. I was a massage therapist for several years specializing in rehabilitative massage work and had some tremendous opportunities during that time.  Once I became a mom, my priorities shifted and I felt called out of the industry.  Never did I feel like I was called out of helping others feel better though.

After becoming a mother, my desire for natural remedies was even stronger than before. Throughout my massage career I learned about essential oils, dabbed a bit and even considered continuing my education with homeopathic medicines. Over the years, essential oils kept being introduced into our life.

With a lot of though, prayer and research I decided to dive back a bit into my passion for wellness in general and make a bigger commitment with essential oils. I did hours of research and went to a company that I actually tried many years ago a few times and had great luck with – Young Living. Ryan and I had a long talk and decided it was great for our family and made a bigger commitment

I’ll share more all about that another day but I wanted to share a teeny bit here today because I wanted to put it in this space. I’m not here to sell you and this blog isn’t turning into a full time oils blog. I’ll be sharing a bit about them periodically since they are a part of our daily lives and I believe so much in them.  If you do ever have any questions though and want to join us on this journey we would really love to have you. Don’t hesitate to reach out.

And if you are into YL oils already – this blend is amazing, friends. Today I added in a drop of stress away too because Monday. Ha.

Also – I JUST found out that they are offering this sale that I shared on Twitter through August 31!!!! If you order the Rose diffuser you get three free 5 mL oils – peppermint, tangerine, and thieves! It is such a good deal. My Twitter link gives you the full breakdown.

That’s it for today, friends but I’ll be back with life updates, our camping recap that I’ve been meaning to share and so much more. I felt caught in a whirlwind a bit recently with life stuff and extra stuff around here that I’ve been sharing with you but things are smoother now and I can’t wait to catch up and share more things I’ve been dying to – like our new family photos (you can peek at them on IG).

What are some things YOU are loving?
