The Buzz About The Vintage Honey Shop
Over the past few months I’ve had the opportunity to try out all three of the Vintage Honey Teething Necklace styles. So today I wanted to share all the details with our experience with each necklace type before our discount code runs out at the end of this month. I was a brand rep on Instagram for the first quarter of this year and with that opportunity I got a new necklace each month and at the beginning of them term I selected that I wanted to try all three options. I was very intrigued because the necklaces are so very different from one another, I was curious as to which B would enjoy the most. Would he like the necklace the most without the teething ring? Would the ring be a hit? Would he like the silicone since he likes silicone toys to chew on?
They carry a large variety of styles in the shop so there is literally something for everyone and every style preferences! All of them are lightweight so if you are sensitive to weighted items around your neck like I am, you don’t need to worry about these causing you headaches! Their packaging is gorgeous and extremely well done, so if you order for yourself or order for a friend, you won’t be disappointed because it’s a beautiful package that comes!

We discovered with our first necklace which was the Fabric Teething + Nursing necklace (fabric wrapped organic wooden beads no ring). Each bead has a fabric knot on it between it and the next one, which I really like for both safety and the look of it. Ryan endearingly calls it B’s safety necklace because he hangs onto it while I carry him around. He puts the beads up to his mouth from time to time too. I like that it’s adjustable with the ribbon so I can adjust to my preferences based on outfits and needs.
Our second necklace arrived and was the Fabric Nursing + Teething Ring necklace (fabric wrapped organic wooden bead necklace with the teething ring). It’s built exactly like the one I mentioned above but it has the ring attached at the center. He loves hanging on to this one the most because of the ring. He loves chewing on the ring, playing with it and hanging on to it. This one has the ribbon for adjustable length like the first one.
The third necklace was the Silicone Teething Necklace. It uses five (5) silicone hexagon shaped beads on a nylon string with a plastic breakaway clasp. That said, it’s not technically adjustable but if you were wanting something a specific length, it wouldn’t be a huge issue to pull trough the clasp and adjust accordingly. Personally though, I like it at its standard length. This one is B’s favorite to chew on because of the silicone. It’s a texture he’s familiar with from other teething toys and objects so I’m not completely surprised.
Cleaning is super simple with all three of these necklaces. You simply use a gentle soap of your choice, hand wash in warm water and air dry. I’ve personally tossed mine in the washer before and dried it – the craftsmanship of these necklace made me confident that they would hold up fine and they did! They are super easy to clean and maintain.
We love our necklaces. All three are great and B loves them all but the silicone is his favorite to chew on. He plays with all of them while nursing or hanging out in my wrap too. I love that instead of a teething toy these are around my neck (or Ryan’s – yes, he’s used them too!) so we don’t have to worry about B dropping them while we are out and about. They can also be tied to excersaucers, carts or car seats for your little ones too which is great.They are fun and functional for baby and they are stylish of mom too which makes it a win for everyone.
