New Year, New Additions

Goodbye 2014, Hello There 2015.

Gosh, 2014 was so incredibly good to us – like blessed our socks of good.  We had frustrating things and sad things, we had goodbyes to say and let downs, but really looking back at the year I can’t even believe how many things we were truly blessed by. We were blessed with big, tangible things we’d been praying for and starting to believe wouldn’t happen.

We bought our first home after searching for two long years full of let downs and disappointments. A house that was bigger than we expected that gives us room to grow and thrive.  It’s further out than we expected but it’s so much more in so many other ways.

We welcomed a new puppy into our house once we were settled that is laid back, sweet, smart and incredible with A. They are the best of friends – she was meant for our family.

After several tiring years at Ryan’s old job that left him feeling drained and defeated daily, we were blessed with a job opportunity with SOA Corporate that is a dream come true and it’s been so wonderful seeing him thrive and be taken care of a company that genuinely cares about their staff.

Little did we know that God wasn’t stopping in sets of threes this year. Oh no, he had one more big blessing for us. In November, we found out we were six weeks pregnant and we will be welcoming a new baby into our family this summer – late June/early July. We are so blessed. We got to see our little nugget at 8.5 weeks via sonogram, and we’ve know her their heartbeat twice.  Healthy and thriving.  I’m currently 13.5 weeks pregnant and we announced to our family this last Christmas and naturally they are thrilled. This pregnancy was a bit different than my first – although I haven’t been nearly as sick this time around, thank God – so we kept things pretty quiet!

2014 was so good to us, and I’m so excited to see what 2015 has in store for us. It’ll be hard to top 2014, but then again I said that back in 2009 when we married and again in 2012 when we welcomed Miss A into the world. It seems that every year things just get better, blessings stacking on top of the blessings we have been given from the years before.

2015, whatever you have in store for us, we are ready for you!
