Next Stop – TEXAS!
We’ve got BIG news!!
We’re moving to TEXAS!!
All 5 of us hopped on a plane to go home hunting last week. After two and a half days and about 22 homes, we came down to two homes we really liked a lot. We deliberated a bit about the pros and cons of both then put in an offer. We put a contract in on a house just outside of Frisco in a town called Prosper. It’s really pretty centrally located to the places we need but without being inside a big city.
Our inspection was able to be completed before we left so we had peace of mind moving forward with the house before we headed back to Pennsylvania. Things fell together beautifully and we are very excited about our new home and community. Oddly enough, we felt very at ease and comfortable in our our new town and surrounding areas. It made me excited for what’s to come!
On our last day there, we spent the afternoon taking the kids to Legoland and to Sea Life Aquarium to reward the kids for being such troopers on our home finding trip! We headed down to Grapevine and surprised the kids. (I’ll save the recap for a different post.) They had a great afternoon there and can’t wait to go back!
Right now we’re currently back in Pennsylvania wrapping up things here, spending extra time with our friends we have to say “see you soon” to and preparing for our big move!
