10 Years.

10 Years. 3650 days. A decade of being your wife.
We’ve gone through some gut-wrenching lows, some incredible highs with many adventures (figuratively and literally) in between through this last decade of marriage. Things have never been “easy” for us but I know one thing for sure – there’s nothing we can’t conquer together. We’ve fought hard in so many ways to get where we are today. Together we’re a powerhouse. Everything is able to be figured out when we’re together.
You’re a good man who is consistent, works hard, follows through, and loves harder. Being loved by you has taught me what it’s liked to be someone’s first choice. No matter where life has led us, I’ve always known you wanted me. Because of you I learned what it’s like to be loved unconditionally by someone, by choice, and that I don’t have to fight life alone. I suppose the truth is, this is something both of us have learned: no matter what, we can rest the easy in the truth that the other will unfailing be there through and through. We know without question that even when the world grows dark and it feels like we’re alone in a battle that the other one of us will be standing there with an outstretched hand in our corner ready to take it all on alongside us. We’ve loved each other at our very lowest of lows and highest of highs.
Here we are 3 babies, 4 states, 4 dogs, and 3 home purchases beyond where we were when we said I do. There’s been a lot of life and a lot of love in these last 10 years. I can’t wait to see what the next decade (and the next and next….) holds for us. Happy Anniversary.
