Sweetheart Vox Box

 So…I received another VoxBox from the very fabulous Influenster. I always love getting the opportunity to receive free products from them because I get to try before I buy and I get to share my experience with you! Fabulous set up I think!

So, lets get started on what my thoughts are on the Sweetheart VoxBox 2013.

 First product up is Not Your Mother’s – Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray.

I want to tell you that I had an aaaammmazzzing experience with it but it wasn’t a fit with my hair type to give it the “beachy” look and feel – I’m not blaming it on the product though, I’m blaming it on my hair type. I have thick, curly hard to manage hair. I DO like using this as a texturizing spray to help with teasing though. It gives it fabulous texture for that. I didn’t feel like it gave me “beachy” waves and it didn’t help with frizz but I know several others with more manageable, thinner, and less curly hair that loved this product.  So although I didn’t love it, I think I would have if I had a different hair type.

 I’m a brat when it comes to on-the-go bars so I was a little nervous to try Skinnygirl Daily but much to my dismay I really enjoyed my COCO-NUT with Peanut Butter bar. It left me feeling satisfied and it actually tasted great. Usually I feel like “on-the-go” bars lack a great taste and are really a last resort. I also liked that my bar was gluten free, I don’t have a gluten intolerance but I know a lot of people who do, so being able to taste and try this product gave me the experience with it so I can recommend it to those who do have a gluten intolerance that it’s a great solution.

 I. LOVE. This. Product. The Olay Fresh Effects {VA-Va-VIVID} is probably one of my favorite facial skin care products to date. The little massager tool is fabulous and the product makes my skin feel wonderful, clean and fabulous. I use this product every morning in the shower and I would absolutely recommend it.

I’m a deodorant snob. Most of the “Clinical Strength” products I’m not a huge fan of simply because of the texture of the deodorant and I feel like it takes forever to dry which leads to deodorant on your shirt which I personally am not a fan of. It’s too much work to scrub the deodorant off the bottom of my darn shirt. And I’m someone to stresses about sweating, am I the only one? Which probably causes a bigger problem because I’m stressing about sweating which causes me stress which causes me to stress – counterproductive much?! That wasn’t the case with this product. I LOVED it. When I first received it I wasn’t so keen on the “Serene Citrus Scent” but I was pleasantly surprised about how much I actually enjoyed it. It smells fabulous and it works fabulous too.
