Sometimes it’s hard to be the light or see the light at the end of the tunnel when life gets heavy and busy or the news just becomes too much. I feel like we have experienced that a lot lately – news wise. Sometimes it’s simply that it’s Monday and it’s easy to slip into the mindset we wish it wasn’t or that things aren’t going our way, etc.
I really like to keep a positive mindset, attitude and energy. When I do, I just feel better all around about life. Having reminders around my house is something I really enjoy having for myself and for others around us.
Recently I discovered a small handmade business that is not only spreading light with their candles but also with their product labels.
Good Word Candle Company is the brainchild of Whitney Davis who found a passion for combining her love for candles, good design and, God’s Word. All of Good Word Candle Company‘s candles are hand poured with soy wax, and made with phthalate free fragrance oils with cotton wicks. New scents are regularly added to the shop and four new designs are added each month. 
We received one of the Longing Lemongrass Sage, a Calming Cotton, a Beautiful Bergamot and a Glorious Grapefruit. They all smell so good. I really can’t pick a favorite.
The candle designs are simple, crisp and beautiful. The 8oz candle tins are a beautiful gold with their staple white and black label. The glass candles are durable, classy and beautiful. My set of candles also came with a darling little tea light in a small cloth bag to let me know it was a sample that they thought I might enjoy.
