Hide-A-Boo on Kickstarter

I love playing with my kids and what I love even more is watching their imaginations grow and bloom. I love listening in on my little ones playing and seeing what they come up with. Obviously A is a bit more advanced in the imagination area of playtime than B is but both imaginations are certainly at work during play time. I really enjoy coming up with great ideas to help encourage their imaginations, giving them tools to really thrive in that area and seeing what they do with it. In a world where screen time is becoming more common than hours of imaginative play, I want the opposite for my kids. I want more play and less screen time and that’s what I cultivate in our home. 

Recently, I was introduced to a brand new Kickstarter called Hide-A-Boo. They have developed these fantastic hideouts that are 3-Dimensional play tools that allow for children to play in, on and around them letting their imaginations fully encompass the hideout. 

Rarely do I share things like this, in fact, I’ve only ever shared on other Kickstarter in this history of this blog, and this one is one I can totally get behind. And in fact, it’s one we are getting behind with our own money because both Ryan and I are loving what this brand is doing it and can’t wait to watch it succeed. 

The hideoutse slip over a card table and becomes a fun new world to imagine within.   Plus, there’s puppet backdrop on one side and on top, an aerial view map that is also a play mat. Hide-a-boo currently has 4 different designs that all have a variety of different aspects and feels. I love that they have such a variety allowing kids of all interests to really dive deep into their imaginations! They have a happy camper adventure, an underwater submarine adventure, an enchanted castle adventure and a rocketship space  adventure!

Something that I really love about Hide-A-Boo is the heart behind it. The team behind Hide-A-Boo – Miss AshLee, Amber, & Casey – all have a passion for building up our little ones and their imaginations. In fact, they care so much it doesn’t stop at their hideouts. They have also put together a variety of pre-planned, built in activities and fun, that they call Teachables, so that you can help play and nurture your child’s imagination! These Teachables are included with your Hideout. 

All of this said, if you are a parent with a little one – this Kickstarter is one you should really consider getting behind. I know we are!
