Little Readers: Good Night Books

If you’ve been a reader around here long, you know h couple of months ago we were introduced to Good Night Books. We had the opportunity to collaborate with them on Instagram and the kids and I loved the books. They have a vast selection of books varying from states, cities, and national parks to animals, fairytale creatures, and machinery. The selection that Good Night Books offers is impressive just as their stories are.

The stories are well thought out, educational, and beautifully illustrated. We read 4 of their books and all three kids enjoy them. They are short board books that cater to a variety of ages. They are short enough to capture the attention span of the littlest readers and simple enough for early independent readers.

Good Night Bedtime

We read books all day long usually but a book before bed is must in our bedtime routine. Good Night Bedtime does a great job walking kids through the bedtime routine, giving ideas for relaxation, and closing the night. It’s beautifully illustrated showing a variety of families and makes it fun and relatable!  It’s a perfect close to the day before they tuck into bed for the night!

Good Night Bears

Good Night Bears is one of my favorites. The illustrations are beautifully done and the story takes you from morning until night going through different bear species, behaviors, and locations. It’s presented in a fun manner while kids are learning about a variety of bear species – common and uncommon. The book also gently teaches children behavioral courtesies like making enough noise when you are in the woods so you don’t scare a bear and keeping away to observe from a distance! The presentation is incredibly well because the book is done in a way that it’s short but concise!

Good Night Fairies

Our sweet girl loves this book! It’s full of wonder, fun, and imagination. It carries you through the days of the fairies from morning until night tying in fun adventures such as tea parties, dancing, and other wonderous creatures like leprechauns and gnomes. It also brings in familiar fairies like the tooth fairy. Our whole family loves this book and it’s one A (5) is confident in learning to read!

Good Night Dozers

My truck and machine loving boy adores Good Night Dozers! It takes the children from morning until night going through the types of dozers, their jobs and the types of tasks they do. It brings them alongside a variety of other construction vehicles and machinery in their jobs, as well. The story comes full circle into the children’s room at the end of the story with dozers on the floor from a day full of play.
