Book Review: Where the Mountain Meets the Moon
These two just finished Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin at book club! Here’s what they have to say about it:
Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin is about a girl named Minli who tries to find her way to Never Ending Mountain to try and change her family’s fortune. She meets two families along the way – the Buffalo Boy and Da-Fu & A-Fu. She finds there is a lot of trouble along the way, such as a dragon tied in threads. Dragon becomes one of her dearest friends and takes on the challenges with her along her journey like a Green Tiger, angry guardian monkeys, and more.
What each kid says about the book –
A: I’d recommend it! My favorite thing about is probably when they get through the peach grove in the book. They get super creative in making it through.
B: Yes! I’d recommend it. My favorite part of the book is when they meet Da-Fu & A-Fu because they become friends of Minli!
