Free To Be with all free clear
I’ve always been more of a free-spirit that lives life by a rhythm than a structure. I keep my schedule with minimal appointments and “have to” agendas. When I became a mother, that didn’t change. Other moms were swearing by structured naps and feed times, and I kept to my rhythms and taking in what worked best for my daughter and our family. As she grew the rhythms changed and life continued a low stress, it’s always what has just worked. Rhythms and intuitive parenting cuing into what works and what doesn’t versus what others think we should be doing.
I believe when we take life in the waves that it comes, going with the motions life just works smoother. It’s more fluid and less stressful. When it comes to parenting I find a bigger value in letting my child(ren) get messy, hands on and learn things by living it first hand. I’m a protective mother but I’m not one to stress the small stuff. I would rather something take longer to do and to clean up after but have my daughter involved than to leave her out to have less to “deal” with.

We make big messes in the kitchen baking and making.
We make paintings and messy craft projects.
We go outside and discover bugs and snakes and get dirty.
We snuggle in blankets when she feels snuggly (and hello constant new baby snuggles in a few weeks!).
Ryan endearingly calls me a gypsy mama because I’m laid back and feel like our children should be free to be children. The extra stress on micromanaging isn’t something I am interested in. Unless they are engaging in something that is potentially harmful to them physically, mentally or emotionally I’m all about going with the flow. I love seeing my daughter’s personality come out when she is free to be her, with her own ideas and seeing her heart (I wrote a little about that last week)
One thing, however, that I’m do find worthy of my stress is what I am using on or around my children. I research products that directly affect them in our house or on their little bodies. Having our daughter was an eye opener for me about what is on the market and “approved” versus what I really want to be using on or around my daughter. With having our son in only a few weeks this is something that I revisit the feelings of frequently.
A fresh, new-to-this-world with his pure little body untouched of chemicals and harmful items. I’ve got the bath and body products figured out but something we don’t always think about is the laundry. The detergent that is used on the clothes of my children, their bedding, their blankets and their favorite stuffed animals. It’s never something we put a ton of thought into. I did with their bath and body products but not this. I don’t want a laundry detergent with harsh dyes and synthetic scents. No way, no how.
When we had A we made our own and I found that although it was an efficient detergent I did have a few dislikes – including the time it took – and as she got older we switched back to another familiar brand. However, with a husband with sensitive skin, a daughter who I want to use the best for, and a new to this world baby on the way it’s something that has been on my mind. As a mother, it’s my job to do the best for our children.

With my free-to-be parenting style I enjoy making the messes with my children and worrying about the chores less – which if you know me personally, you know that a messy house is a pet peeve of mine too. So, when I learned about all clear I did my research. I wanted to know why this brand, all free clear laundry detergent , is the #1 recommended detergent brand by Dermatologists, Allergists, and Pediatricians for sensitive skin. I found out it’s 100% hypoallergenic, too. It’s 100% free of dyes and perfumes. Gentle on skin. Safe for all washing machines (with an h/e washer this a major perk too!) I found myself quickly on the way to the store to try it out I was in love. Plus, they make laundry pods which means no messy measuring cup a just drop a pod and go!
I love that all free clear makes clean-up easy with an irritant-free, allergen-free laundry product that’s hard on the messy stains from outdoor excursions, messy craft projects and foods we are crafting. Luckily for me, their entire line of products make my life a little easier, affordable (save $1 here!)and worry free. It fits our lifestyle and our family’s needs. all clear laundry products have me covered for my laundry detergent needs, stain removing needs thanks to oxi-boosters and even dryer sheets.
I have far more things to be worried about, like teaching them to learn and explore, how to live a life with a heart for others and to nurture their growing personalities, than to have to worry about their laundry coming clean or using a product that might make them have an adverse reaction.
Today’s post is sponsored by all free clear, but my love for the brand is all my own! If this sounds like your kind of detergent, I recommend you check them out. Even better? You can save $1 with a coupon here.
