….I would tell you that the house has been so full of baby giggles, it warms my heart. And baby kisses too. So many baby smooches lately, our sweet little A loves to give big open mouth kisses on our cheeks and mouths lately. Seriously the sweetest thing ever. Slobber and all. This sweet girl has such a sweet, sweet personality and more and more of it comes out every single day.
….I would tell you that my little sister was here for a couple of days this week, she enjoyed some extra time with A and I watched and admired the little relationship that is forming between the two. It made me reflect on how it feels like it wasn’t that long ago she was A’s age and I was in the role of the big sister, and she was the baby. For the last 10 years she has been “the baby” of the family and now that’s changed a bit. Now, A is the baby and Kylie is the Aunt Kylie, which is an exciting role but I think it was a little different for her to experience that for the first time since A was born.
….I would tell you that the weather is all over the place. I won’t complain about the snow, we need the moisture desperately; so much so, that here you have to have a permit to have a garden this year and you can’t wash your car in the driveway without getting fined. We need the moisture, however it comes but I would be OK with it coming as rain, I’d love a good thunderstorm.
….I would tell you that tomorrow I have my semi-annual heart appointment tomorrow and Dr. F will listen to A’s heart too. The pediatrician at the hospital and our pediatrician says A’s heart sounds great, not even a tiny murmur which is fantastic news – but my heart will feel much more settled once I hear that from Dr. F. I’ve been looking forward to this appointment since my last one, and even more so in the last 5.5 months since she was born, but even with that it comes with a light bit of anxiety.
….I would tell you that I’m excited for the forecast this weekend, it’s supposed to be beautiful so I am hoping that we get out and enjoy the fresh air, maybe take A to the mountains for her first visit and just enjoy life. Just be.
….I would tell you that my dogs stink. They need a bath desperately, it’s been like two weeks but every time I go to give them a bath it snows and that is just plain counterproductive. So, tomorrow, that will be conquered. It has to be. Maybe it will be conquered this evening, all I know is it will happen soon, and I’m sure they will be delighted. not.
….I would tell you that our darn coffee maker broke yesterday and it totally sucked. So we had to buy another one yesterday and I’m not loving it as much, I don’t think it’s quite as “cool” but I suppose the old coffee maker was good to us for the last like four years, so I really can’t complain.
….I would tell you I love music. Love it. You all know that already but I truly believe music sometimes just moves the soul in ways that nothing else can. I would also tell you that Pandora’s commercials being more frequent kind of drives me crazy but I’m too cheap to pay the monthly fee, so I suppose I’ll keep complaining in my head and keep on hitting the “Yes I’m Still Listening” button with vengeance. 🙂
…I would tell you if you need some Mother’s Day gift ideas you should go to
this post, and if you want to help make some wishes come true you should go to
this one.
….I would tell you that I hope you are having a great week! 🙂
for the first edition of if you asked me go here.
