Take Me Out To the Ball Game
We got tickets for the Friday night came for the Rockies vs the LA Dodgers over at Coors field. We’ve gone several times together but this was A’s first trip to the ball field. We had pretty great seats 22nd row just to side of first base. I would be lying though if I said we sat in our seats longer than an hour total though. We brought some snacks to munch on and enjoy for the evening and watched the Rockies sadly lose the same.
Luckily, Coors field has a couple great areas for kids to play in. The outside playground was overrun with kids a bit older than A but the kind gentleman that was overseeing that area pointed us to a different area where apparently few people know about because it had probably 5-10 kiddos in there. It was covered and there were screens to watch the game so that was pretty nice. We didn’t miss the entire game!

A loved hearing the loud music and entertainment throughout the night. She would frequently clap along with the crowd and generally had a good time. A ball game is a long time for a little one to sit there and just watch though, so I would say she did great.
We ended the night by stopping by the Rockies store and picking up a soft Rockies baseball for A, which is loves to throw all around the house.
Yay for a successful first ball game. I’m sure it won’t be her last. 🙂
