Well, hello there.
Hello there, it’s been a while.
It’s been nearly six months since I last found myself here for a post. It seems like forever and a blip of time all at once. We’ve been settled into north Texas since last September. January hit and it finally felt more like home.
We spent much the last week in January and two weeks of February in Colorado to be by the side of my granddad when he had his heart surgery. He drove himself to the doctor 45 minutes away, made in the door and promptly passed out (talk about divine timing). Next thing he was transferred to the local hospital.
We hopped in the car the afternoon after Ryan got back in town from a work trip then drove overnight knowing heart surgery would be in his near future. Soon there was transfer to another hospital for open heart surgery for a new mitrovalve. His surgery was successful. Once he was home I stayed for couple weeks with the kids to help him get settled during his recovery. His sister stayed for the remaining recovery time. He’s doing well now.
Other than that event, we’ve just been juggling our homeschool life and our business. We’ve found a little bit of a rhythm in our days (most days) and I’m learning to juggle it all. I’m not convinced there’s anything remotely close to genuine balance. Sometimes you keep all the balls you are juggling in the air and other times, well, they all hit the ground.
I’m learning to lean into grace when balance isn’t obtainable. There’s been great growth in this season and I’m grateful for that. I’ve seen the growth in myself as a wife, a mom, a business woman, and a person.
Right now I’m debating on doing homeschool year around because it allows for the rhythm to continue and more gaps throughout the year. For example, we did less school than usual when we were in Colorado those three weeks. If we weren’t already so far ahead, I probably would have been more concerned but we ended up just fine.
As for business, I’m thriving in our business and still love every second. The ability to watch the impact of how reducing toxins from people’s lives is truly so beautiful. The testimonies of healthier families come in every day and I’m so humbled that I get to do this job. I get to focus on the business aspect of this by helping others lead and I educate people daily in our education groups and even teach weekly classes online.
Two and a halfyears in, I’m so incredibly grateful for this opportunity to change all be beside my kiddos all day long every day. We actually are heading to Utah as a family in July – I never thought I would say that but here we are!
We are bracing for the Texas summer heat that will be coming upon us very soon. Right now, we seem to be in the sweet spot between thunderstorms. We really are enjoying life in Texas. We are exploring local areas and being grateful for the opportunity. Last week we even went to a Rangers game.

Anyways, now that you have a bit more of a life update with us, I am excited to say that I think you’ll be seeing me back in the space a lot more often. I am on Instagram every day, but I’m really missing this platform. I will have so many books to share with you, thoughts, as well as, tips, tricks, and DIYs. ♥️
